"ESV explained the difference. With the paid version you can click on just about any word and you will get translations and definitions that really help with context. Also, when you click on a geographical location, the app will explain where it is as we know today; and if possible, the app will tell you the modern name of the city. I was incorrectly under the impression that those features were in the free version. Thus, the paid app has a lot more than just a Bible, and well worth the money."
